Menu: Salmon with a lemon dill spread served on Matzah,  Roasted Asparagus (leftover from Easter dinner),  and a homemade chocolate cake with ganache icing and fresh sliced strawberries,  wine (for adults),  iced tea ( for future adults) balloons, candles, flowers picked out by Kyle,  a few resents,  lots of brothers, and some surprise guests who brought these!

This was a real treat because the lady that made these makes really fancy cakes for weddings that taste fabulous.  She used to bake pies in a hippie commune she and her husband belonged to long ago… No kidding!  They are an amazing family.

Chris is holding Jonathan’s cheeks so he can’t “help” blow out the candles.

He drove his new train in his cake.

It was the perfect birthday for a 4 year old.

10 Days since your last post?!  Slacker.  What gives?

Ok, ok. I know I haven’t posted in forever.  April has just gotten insanely busy.  We’ve been figuring out next year’s schooling options, planning for the FOUR April birthdays in our family, and getting ready for Easter.  We also attempted a Passover Seder, which I will blog more about in a few days.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Good Friday.  It is hard to think of Jesus’ suffering on the cross and call it “Good”, but that’s just how extreme his love for us is- that he would go through all that.

“but because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a  mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” Deut 7:8

Peace,

Wuzza
